Sox vs. Rox

Even through the Rockies ended up losing (they were completely over matched), we still had a great time at the game. My dad and I went to game 3 of the World Series on Saturday in Denver. The atmosphere was incredible even with all the Red Sox fans. Denver is a great sports town. 300 images later these are some of my favorites...

Big Papi strikes out!
Manny pops out to center field.
The great Matsuzaka!

Matsui bunts for a single...
and then steals second!

After further review, Manny was definitely out!
Holliday hits a three run home run! (that was awesome)

Just Will

Not William or Willy, or even Wilbur. Just Will. This little guy is only 7 weeks old and look how strong he is. Definitely a wrestler!

Indra

Wow, I didn't realize it has been almost ten days since my last post. It has been pretty crazy with finishing up with most of the seniors. I love to capture the kid's personality so I encourage them to bring things that show who they are. Perfect example is Indra with her horse. I feel the images become so much more personal this way.

Queen Stena

Another beautiful fall day. Stena is a great girl to work with and I wish her well. Not much else to say, so I will just let her images speak...What do they say to you?

Cowboy Up!

So, here we are shooting Allison's pictures with her horse when her brother, Garrell, decides to steal the show. We had wanted to get some pictures of them riding the horses but one horse had another idea. Thankfully, no one was hurt and we ended up with some pretty cool shots.

A crisp fall afternoon...

We were expecting rain but ended up with a beautiful fall afternoon. I went down to Buffalo to meet with Andrea and Brett for some engagement pictures. These sessions are very laid back and we ended up having lots of fun. I can tell that we will have a great time at their wedding next spring.

Libby and Shelby

It was nice to take a break from all the seniors and just relax. I went to Riverfront park with Libby, Shelby and their mom. Libby is quite the big sister, doing whatever was necessary to make sure that Shelby was paying attention and looking her best. (By the way, Libby, say hi to Emerson for me.)

Arlee and Co.

Well, this was an interesting session. It actually went pretty well until we had three senior girls in the same room together. I can tell that Arlee, Rachel, and Steph will be good friends for a long time. Good luck ladies!

Stephanie

She said she was nervous but I certainly didn't see it. Stephanie was very comfortable in front of the camera which makes my job easier! And then there are her grandparents...what can I say, they come walking in with a full size mountain lion rug! I'm thinking to myself, who doesn't want their granddaughter posing on a mountain lion rug? It was actually pretty cool and we definitely had a lot of fun.

Mood

I love to create mood in my photography. Kenzie is a very happy, fun girl but I wanted to try something that might show a different side of her. What do you think?

Of course I have to show you that she does have a fun side.

Allison and Kendra

Wow, what happened with the weather? I was able to photograph Allison in the studio but we had to postpone her outdoor session due to unfavorable weather. I guess it is October so we better get ready. However, next week is supposed to be nice which is good because I have a lot of work ahead of me.

Kendra came for her pictures before the bad weather moved in so we were able to go outside which is much more fun for me. I feel that I can be more creative outside with the different backgrounds and such. Kendra also brought her beautiful daughter, Tyra.

Senior Season!

Had a great time this weekend with a couple of seniors. The leaves are starting to change and so is the weather. Getting a bit cool at night. Saturday I went out with Laci. She came up from Buffalo which is a couple hours southeast of Hardin.

Sunday evening, Jake and I went out to see if we could find some new shooting spots. I knew what I was looking for but wasn't sure where to look. I think we may have found it as I love the light that was hitting this spot.
